If you want expert advice you need to find someone with a lot of experience.  I started building stairs when I was 16 years old, working with my father who was a master carpenter.  By the time I was 18 years old I was building stairs on my own and well on the way to becoming a master carpenter like my father and his father. 

There were times when I was installing between two and six sets of stairs each day.  Difficult sets of stairs could take me all day to install, as easy or straight stairs could almost be assembled in less than an hour.  I worked long hours and studied hard to become one of the best stair builders in the area.
